Arts and Ideas is a program at Lewis University founded in 1984 by Br. Paul French and Chester Kondratowicz to organize cultural, artistic, and entertainment events on campus. It has grown from a few events to over 100 events each semester, with faculty from across the university presenting programs. Arts and Ideas receives funding from the Illinois Arts Council, Cultural Advisory Board, and individual and corporate donors.
