My name is Ahron Glazer, and in 2008, my family and I made aliyah to Jerusalem from Oakland, CA.

I moved to Oakland in the summer of 2004 to establish NCSY and JSU (Jewish Student Union)
communities and programming for the greater San Francisco Bay area. By the time my family and I
left for Israel, more than 200 public school teens were actively involved in Jewish life, and our NCSY
regional chapter had won awards for excellence four years in a row.

During my years in the Bay Area, I pushed myself to create quality formal and informal educational
programming that has made an indelible impact. Teens that might never have cared to experience a
Shabbat or a “Latte and Learning” have become passionate about their Judaism, many finding their
way to Israel for summer and yearlong study.

Internationally, I served as program director for an Israel Summer Touring Program, was an Assistant
Director of JOLT (Junior Overseas Leadership Training—Ukraine), ran programming for the local
Jewish community in Kharkov, FSU and Poland, as well as TikkunOlam programs in Nicaragua.

In 2009, I began creating a gap-year program in Israel, called Imadi, targeting graduating high school
seniors from North America who would not have allowed themselves the opportunity of a gap year in
Israel, and would have continued straight to university. The mission and goal of this unique program
was to build strong Jewish identity and leadership capabilities among Jewish university students by
inspiring in them a commitment to Israel, the Jewish people, and Jewish tradition and practice.

I am an excellent team player who can also work independently. I am a hard worker, energetic and
enthusiastic, and an out of the box thinker. I have experience in creating formal and informal
educational programming for an intimate as well as a global audience, management, budgeting, hiring
and educating staff, sales, marketing and PR.

My attached resume provides an overview of my activities in these areas, although can only tell part of
my story. I would like to meet with you to discuss your needs and my background for us to
understand how they might fit together.
