Agapornis is an Argentinian cumbia band formed in May 2010 in La Plata, Argentina consisting of 8 members including lead singer Melina Lezcano and guitarist Joaquin Irigoyen. The band had one member, Gonzalo Mendes, leave to pursue other studies. Their 2013 song "Hasta el final" reached number 4 on the iTunes download chart in Argentina.
