ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF DIFFERENT JOBS
Objectives of the activity:
Students recognize the jobs from a few descriptive elements (Step1)
Students reflect on the features of the jobs and decide on the
advantages and disadvantages they might involve (Step2)
Students put up boards to illustrate their conclusions (Step3)
Students present and explain the different elements on the boards
to their peers (Step 4)
STEP1
Procedure:
1. Each student receives a job card containing descriptive elements
that will lead to their recognition of a job.
2. Students form groups according to their respective cards.
I use markers or chalk.
I work in a school.
I have students.
I give homework.

Procedure:
In their groups, students
discuss about the jobs
and decide what their
advantages and
disadvantages might be.
STEP 3
Procedure:
Students put up boards to illustrate the conclusions of their discussions
STEP 4
Procedure:
Students present and explain the different elements on their boards to
their peers.
