RBI UPDATES LAUNCH OF COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CMS) • RBI has launched a software application called “Complaint Management System (CMS)” to facilitate its grievance redressal processes. • The public can lodge their complaints against any of the entities regulated by the RBI through this portal. • All complaints lodged on this portal would be directed to the appropriate office of the ombudsman/ regional office of the RBI. • CMS will enable easy access and tracking of complaints for the public through following features: o Acknowledgement through SMS/ Email notification(s). o Status tracking through unique registration number. o Receipt of closure advises and filing of appeals, wherever applicable. o Voluntary feedback on customer’s experience. • The CMS portal can be accessed through Complaints Section on RBI website.
