Accounting was developed in the 20th century and measures a company's financial position which has multiple aspects. Assets have different types and their value is measured both objectively and subjectively, with some assets excluded from company accounts if their value cannot be reliably measured.

artificial intelligence learning. The protein-folding problem is the exploration of how a protein's
amino acid sequence forms its 3-D structure. If a protein is misfolded, it will not function
properly and can lead to diseases, such as Parkinson's Disease. RoseTTAFold 2 predicts the
structures of proteins and solves this problem in the most efficient.

According to Dale Jamieson- climate change challenges the current form.pdfSebastianRzuHarrisw
According to Dale Jamieson, climate change challenges the current formulation of ethics. How?
Select one true statement
Our ethics are already adapted to deal with long-term, large-scale issues, but we haven't yet
developed the arguments that get people to buy-in.
We focus too much on the teachings of the utilitarian John Stuart Mill over Immanuel Kant,
who's deontological framework is more appropriate for climate ethics.
Since climate change has been occurring naturally for eons, we are already well-positioned to
think about the issues it may cause to the future.
The harms felt by climate change are not immediate nor easily traceable while ethics is better
suited to track immediate consequences from actions.
The harms felt by climate change are not immediate nor easily traceable but our Western ethics
don't translate well to other cultures so getting everyone on the same page will be difficult..
Acc 291-T Q 1-2 Why is it important that FINANCLAL accounting provide.pdfSebastianRzuHarrisw
Acc 291-T Q 1-2
Why is it important that FINANCLAL accounting provide a common set of standards that are
used by all companies in preparing their financial statements? To serve the competitive needs of
companies working to uniquely serve specific customers in specific markets So that income
taxes can be collected in a fair and equitable fashion So that outsiders can compare financial
reports coming from many different companies To provide standardized data used in computing
government statistics Why don't all companies use the same MANAGERIAL accounting
systems? The systems must serve the competitive needs of companies working to uniquely serve
specific customers in specific markets: The systems must provide different sets of financial
statements; some companies don't provide outsiders with both an income statement and a balance
sheet. The systems are based on publicly available data which are posted in different databases
for companies in different industries. The systems are required to provide government data once
per year, and the operating cycles of companies are often based on different seasons..

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
