60 credits (45 credits@ level 3 + 15 credits@ level 2)

7. GRADING
• PASS – meet criteria – to include description,
analysis and evaluation
• MERIT – as above to a very good level
• DISTINCTION – as above to an excellent level
(there are no additional criteria to meet to
gain Merit or Distinction grades, these are
awarded purely on quality of work meeting
the unit criteria)
8. CRITICAL TO SUCCESS
• ATTENDANCE – 90% minimum
• SUBMISSION OF ASSIGNMENTS TO DEADLINES
• WORKLOAD 14/16 hours per week in class
plus 14/16 hours per week in self study
• An average of at least one assignment per
week from September to May.
9. COSTS

payable by students who have already studied
for/completed a Level 3 course

10. PROGRESSION
The programme is recognised by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher
Education (QAA) and therefore by all UK universities as a standard entry
qualification.
Learners from this programme progress onto a wide range of course at
university.
