This document outlines the course plan for the Mathematical Methods course offered in the 2015/2016 academic year. The course will be delivered through 6 video conferencing sessions covering topics like integral transforms, special functions, Sturm-Liouville problems, Fourier series, and partial differential equations. There will be 2 written assignments due on December 1, 2015 and March 1, 2016. A continuous assessment will be conducted during the intensive course to evaluate chapters 1-3. The final exam will be 3 hours and contribute 70% to the overall grade, with assignments being 10% and continuous assessment being 20%. All course resources will be available online.

3. ASSIGNMENTS
There will be two written assignments
Assignment 1: Dateline for assignment submission is 1 December 2015.
Assignment 2: Dateline for assignment submission is 1 Mac 2016.
These assignments must be sent to the General Office, PPPJJ.
CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT
One continuous assessment will be conducted during the Intensive Course. The part covered

INTENSIVE COURSE
The date for the intensive course is available in the Academic Calendar provided. Face-to-
