The document examines the optimal placement and selection of onshore wind turbines in Denmark from a business economic perspective of profit maximization. It uses a geographical information system to identify suitable sites for wind turbines based on legal setback requirements from homes and protected areas. Three turbine heights are examined - 100m, 125m, and 150m - using specific Vestas turbine models. The wind resource and electricity production potential of each site and turbine type is calculated.
