Model Leader: Abraham
Lincoln
Maria Kemerling, GATE 8
Leadership Style
Abraham Lincoln’s leadership style on the “compass”
is northwest. I would consider Abraham Lincoln as a
northwest person because he was both; analytical
and showed a vision. Of course, since he was the
President, he had to be able to take charge (North).
Although, he did stand up for what was right and put
the emotions aside that would come with ending
slavery and all of the whites that wouldn’t approve of
that. Lincoln wasn’t afraid to say what was on his
mind and speak in front of people. He could hear
stories from different points of views and apply them
(West). He would analyze the big problem of things.
He persevered through the slavery before the
Emancipation Proclamation.
