Matthew was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. He graduated from Lexington Christian Academy and received his bachelor's and master's degrees in communication from the University of Kentucky. Matthew has worked as a high school assistant baseball coach, floor manager at a sports complex, and security at a lounge. He now owns Champions Sports, where kids can practice baseball all day, and he teaches them life lessons through the sport.
