EDRi is a coalition of digital rights organizations founded in 2002 with 14 member organizations from 11 European countries. EDRi coordinates campaigns and advocacy between its members to influence European policymaking on issues like intellectual property, data retention, and privacy. Its goals include hiring full-time staff in Brussels, expanding its membership to all EU countries, and eventually working at the Council of Europe level.
