The author found that the main product and ancillary tasks of their first year were better combined than those of the second year. In the second year, the individual products met the brief but did not link together as strongly. Areas like layout, pictures, and basic design suffered from a lack of creativity in the second year compared to the more thorough research done in the first year. The author created a TV website that was a hybrid of existing sites like 4oD and Sky Atlantic to make it relatable yet unique. The listings page and website worked better together than with the advertisement due to similar layouts, text, and color schemes, whereas the advertisement used a different house style and was meant to be eye-catching.
