Each morning I go for a walk. I have been doing this for the last 6 months.
It started off as a way of implementing a healthy habit into my life. This morning as a passed a dog walker I said
hello.
I noticed something. I didn’t have to force a smile. I was already grinning from ear to ear when I said my hello.
As I continued my walk I could feel the tension in my cheeks. I couldn’t help myself.
When I am on my walk in the mornings I have this constant smile on my face.

There are different types of happiness. There is the happiness you have in the moment. The past and future
happiness. We can look back at the past and think of it as a happy time. However, back then there would have
been happy periods and not so happy periods.
When I come out on my daily walk. I keep coming back to this. It is a happy place. It is not that walking makes me
happy. When I am in this place, sitting in one of my favourites spots where I can see across Kent. I just feel
happy. It isn’t something I have to force.
Happiness Is An Emotion
In the interview he gave an example that happiness is like water in your hands and it is seeping through your
fingers. Happiness is an emotion we want to keep hold of it and maintain it and we get disappointed when we lose
it.
