Steve Jobs was born in 1955 in San Francisco and was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. He admired his adoptive father's craftsmanship skills which later inspired Jobs to start Apple. Jobs had a difficult time in school where he was often bored and occasionally suspended. After moving to California in 1967, Jobs met his friend Steve Wozniak and they later co-founded Apple Computer, now known as Apple Inc., one of the largest technology companies in the world. Jobs passed away in 2011 due to complications from pancreatic cancer.
