CHILD FOCUS
Wish children are at the centre of what we do and always come first.
Florrie’s wish

to be the centre of attention and
have lots of treats and things like
that is especially the kind of thing
she likes to do.”

Florrie, 3, is living with cancer and
wished to be a princess in a castle.

Lewis, aged 7, living with half a heart,
wished to star in his own superhero film.

Max’s wish
“The whole wish process was fantastic. The
staff at Make-A-Wish fell over themselves
to help us – nothing was too much trouble –
and everything was so well thought out.”
Mandy, wish mum
Max, 4, living Down’s Syndrome and was
diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. He
wished to meet Woody in Disneyland!

Felix’s wish
“This wish wouldn’t have been possible
without so many #WishMakers from
easyJet and Harrods, to Luton Airport,
National Grid, Edmund the limo driver, the
camera crew, our volunteer seamstress
and cake collector and of course Felix’s
dad.” Jo,
Director of Wishgranting
Felix, 7, living with a rare blood disorder wished
to be Electroman – his very own superhero!

“The best moment was when we went in to one of the lifts
and the number of buttons on display was huge! James
seemed to be thinking: ‘Can I really touch all of these
buttons?!’ “

James, 13, living with an undiagnosed genetic condition wished to be
a lift operator!
