Action Learning Sessions
Action learning is the process of bringing classroom knowledge to the real world. In this
activity the group meets, and with the help of a trained coach, they implement the following
process:

Members of the program will conduct multiple knowledge sharing activities with a minimum of one
knowledge sharing session at each phase. For example, e-discussions and presentations for other
employees. These activities are very effective in improving the learning retention and in creating
functional and collaborative teams.

– A team of potential mentors will be selected buy the management.
– The selected mentors will attend a training session “Mentoring Essentials” to be trained on
conducting effective mentoring.
To ensure the effectiveness of the mentoring activities, mentoring will be conduct as per the
following steps:
Mentoring Sessions
– All the mentors will be assigned a specific number of mentees based upon their area
of expertise.
– Soon after completion of “Action Learning Sessions”, the mentors will start
conducting the mentorship sessions (at least 2 sessions in each phase).
– The mentee can ask for additional sessions subject to the requirement.
– The mentors will document all the sessions to report the mentees progress.
