•   Started with a small loan from his parents
•   Always wanted to own his own business
•   Has been doing carpentry all his life
•   Business has grown a lot from what it started out from
SUCCESSES/CHALLENGES
•   Been in business for a long time now
     • Quality service
•   In recent economic struggle business has declined
     • Service seen as a luxury
     • People don’t feel the need to contract him during the current economy
•   Overcome less business interactions by providing a quality service
     • People come back to quality
THE FUTURE
•   Plans to stay in business as long as he can continue to provide a quality service
•   Not currently looking to expand but maybe sometime off in the next 10 years
•   Currently just trying to get to the next contract and do one job at a time
SUMMARY
•   If you want to own your own business you have to be dedicated to what you are doing.
    You can’t slack off and you always have to work hard. You get the job done no matter
    how many set backs there are. Quality service with respectable prices and a good
    attitude will be what keeps the business going.
