Medusa Pryce is the last remaining heir to the Pryce family line. Her entire family has been killed except for her husband Triton. She recounts the history of her family, including her alien father and mermaid mother. Her family lived in Dragon Valley until her witch grandfather was killed by a meteor. Grim foretold three blows would befall the family. Medusa and Triton had five children through the use of a time machine, but all of their children were killed along with the rest of the family. Only Medusa and Triton survived and have lost their supernatural abilities. Medusa is determined to continue the family legacy and rebuild her resort empire in Isla Paradiso despite their losses.

2. It is my sad duty as the last remaining heiress to the Pryce family line that I have to
inform everyone of what has happened to my family. My name is Medusa Pryce, and I
am the sixth generation heiress. My grandfather Michael was the last one to tell his
story before…I’ll get to that eventually. But for now I need to recount what happened
for history and because I owe it to my family. Everyone is gone, my parents, my
siblings, my grandparents…even my own children. Fortunately, Triton my husband
and I managed to escape due to the fact we were out of town. We now have to rebuild
the family and continue on with the legacy that my ancestor Vincent began.

3. My father Ripley was chosen by my grandfather as heir. He went to college while the rest
of my aunts and uncles chose to move out and go into the work force as soon as they
turned 21. He always loved to learn and experience new things, he was half-alien and my
other grandfather Xeep actually came to stay with my family soon before dad graduated
from high school.

4. While in college, dad met my mother Sarah. She was a jock and he was nerd and they
were totally opposite from one another but as they say opposites attract. She was very
interested in our family’s supernatural heritage. In college she was always surrounded
by fairies, werewolves, witches, and vampires but she herself was never one of them.

5. Mom moved in with the family
after they graduated from college
and while she was exploring the
house, she found a treasure chest
in one room with the alchemy table
that contained a sparkling plant
called Mermaidic Kelp. She
decided that it had to be something
she could use to finally become
supernatural so she ate it and
became a mermaid.

6. But before I get to that, I have to talk about what happened to my grandfather Michael.
He was a witch and was not that nice of a guy, great Aunt Morgan called him Evil but
to grandma Bobo he was just edgy and misunderstood. At the time they were living in
Dragon Valley because grandpa wanted a wicked cool dragon, as grandma put it. He
was out watering the garden one day…

7. The sky suddenly grew dark and grandpa heard a distant rumbling noise from above. He
was the only one outside at the time, everyone else was inside the house and came out
after the rumbling grew loud enough to be heard inside.

8. A giant meteor fell from the sky and killed my grandfather right the in the garden. Half
of the crops were destroyed, including the Death Flower plants that could have saved
his life…

9. Grandma Bobo tried to get out there fast enough to plead for his life but according to
her, Grim just laughed and said that grandpa’s only chance to survive would be if he
had presented him with a Death Flower, which were unfortunately burned up in the
meteor impact.

10. Grim told her that my grandfather’s death would only be the first of three blows to the
family. Grandma Bobo was too distraught to remember exactly what Grim said would
be the downfall of the family…but now it’s become clear what Grim meant.

11. Grandpa Xeep who came to live with the family was a full blooded alien and he was also
very smart. He was missing my father, his son, a lot and once my other grandfather
died he helped grandma Bobo through her grief. He created a Sim Bot named Fuu, I
remember her a little bit from when I was younger.

12. Fuu liked make art around the house and around town. I remember seeing her artwork
around the house when I was younger. She eventually moved out of the house after
grandpa Xeep died, I suppose she must have grown quite attached to her creator and
even Sim Bots can feel grief over the loss of the one who created them.

13. Fuu and grandpa Xeep leaving meant there was more room in the house and eventually
my older sister Annabelle was born. She was alien like my father, his genes were quite
strong according to mom. She would have pleased grandpa Michael, a little Evil
granddaughter, who was also a Genius, Ambitious, Adventurous, and little Over-
Emotional. She loved the colour Spice Brown like dad, Chinese music, and Autumn
Salad. She wanted to be the first Empress of Evil, grandpa would have been so proud.

14. And then came me, Medusa as the middle child. I’ll tell you about myself, I’m
Ambitious like Anna, Family Oriented like grandpa Xeep, I have a Good Sense of
Humour, and I’m a Light Sleeper and admittedly a Party Animal. I like the colour
Blue, Digi Tunes, Fish and Chips, and I want to own a Resort Empire.

15. And the baby was Dracula. He barely had the chance to live as a young adult. He was
Eccentric and Insane, he Loved the Cold, was Athletic and Artistic. He like the
colour Yellow, Western music and Tofu Tri-Tip Steak. He wanted a cool career as a
Paranormal Profiteer.

16. We moved to Isla Paradiso so I could invest in the resort I wanted. It was there that I
met my husband Triton King. He was a merman like mom and he was quite shy at first
when we met, he was also only able to be summoned with a conch shell. He lived in the
ocean so he had no phone and of course I was smitten with him. I spent a lot of time
diving so I could find a conch shell to call him with. At this point, everyone was still
around and we were all still together.

17. Triton and I were married and we made good use of grandpa’s time machine as soon as we could,
our first born daughter Mary joined the family that way. Triton had a desire to be Surrounded by
Family so he wanted at least five kids. I was hoping one of them would be a mermaid like him but
it seemed my alien genes were too strong. Mary was Charismatic and Clumsy, with a Good
Sense of Humour like me, a Heavy Sleeper and a Perfectionist. She liked Latin music,
Crepes and the colour Hot Pink. She wanted to become a Star News Anchor.

18. After Mary we had Rosemary, or Rosie as we called her. She was barely a teenager
and never had a chance. She was a Virtuoso who was Good, Charismatic and
Friendly. She and I shared a love of Digi Tunes, she liked Mac and Cheese and the
colour Yellow like my brother.

19. Our third child was another time machine baby. He was our first son; Jekyll was a Brave,
Computer Whiz kid, who was Good, had a Green Thumb and was a Socially Awkward
boy. I know talking about how you were born in the past and travelled to the future would be a bit
of an awkward conversation. His favourite food was Potato and Truffle Tortes, he liked
Western music and the colour Aqua like his father. He wanted a life of adventure as an
International Super Spy.

20. Our youngest sons Hyde and
Charlie just barely made it to their
toddler years. Hyde was my little
Insane and Evil boy he liked
Roots music, Autumn Salad and
the colour Hot Pink like his big
sister Mary. Charlie was an
Easily Impressed Artistic boy
who liked Egyptian music, Tofu
Steak, and the colour Yellow.
I am angry and very hurt that my
whole family had to suffer like this.
Grim’s prediction to grandma Bobo
had started to come true, this was
only event two of three.

21. I couldn’t save my grandparents’ graves. Grandma Bobo, Grandpa Xeep, Grandpa
Michael…I’m sorry I couldn’t bring you with me. I hope you’ll forgive me. I will not be
beaten I will continue on the family line, Vincent’s legacy will not die so easily as long as
I’m heiress.

22. Triton and I will never stop grieving the loss of our children or the rest of the family. I
wasn’t able to save anything from them, all I have are the memories and what I was told
by grandma Bobo. Corruption or glitching will not stop us. We are still in Isla Paradiso
where I will rebuild my resort empire, it’s a start…

23. I’ve lost my alien DNA and Triton has lost his mermadic powers but we will not be
beaten. There is a reason why I’m Ambitious, I won’t give up on what I want and
neither will Triton. We are going to rebuild the family together and spite Grim. The
loss of our powers was event three that Grim had told grandma Bobo about by the way.

24. Just in case you missed my post, the reason for this reboot is because of the damn
updates Windows 10 just HAS to do. I was playing this family when it decided it
update. First, the screen freezes, then it gets a bit darker, then I see the pop up box
saying Sims 3 has stopped working and crash. Usually it’s due to a TDR video error
that makes it crash, but normally after that I can go back in and replay what I lost
before the crash. This time I couldn’t do it. It tells me on the UI screen that This save
file cannot be opened because some of the required stuff pack or expansion pack data has
been removed or deleted which is not true, the other files can run just fine. So that is
why I called this chapter Ironic Title is Ironic because it was a Windows 10 update that
screwed this save file up. But…it’s happened before and we made it through. The end is
in sight I just need to cover five more supernatural types and I want to do it in the next
four generations.
