If you need even more motion
data, the 9 degrees of freedom
sensor is the new LSM9DS0 which
has a gyroscope as well, all
together great for sensing
orientation and heading in 3D
space.

The purpose of this project is to add motion,
direction and orientation sensing to my
Arduino project with the all-in-one 9-DOF
sensor.
Defenition
❧
❧ The purpose of the project is to utilize motion data
using an accelerometer/gyroscope to show the nine
different variation of degrees in motion detecting.
Abstract
❧
Creating the 9 Degrees of Freedom projects turned out to be an easy task. To begin the
project I created a document of initial and then prioritized requirements. The initial requirements
is of the materials needed and the task required for each part of my project in no particular
order. The prioritized requirements is a list of what needed to muy project doe on a specific
order that went into my sprints. Each task was divided into 3 sprints. Each sprint required the
time in days, name of each task, requirements for each task. The first sprint required research,
going over materials, watching videos, beginning code, and hardware. Research helped me
determine my choice in project and gave me a better understanding in how to go about it.
Methodology

1. Combining Blink and two libraires into one code.
2. Verifying the code and fiixing any errors
3. Reverifying and uploading the code on the correct
serial port
4. Using the serial monitor to show that the data was
being found and collected
