3. http://moodle.com This is my first time to use MOODLE. I found it so great!! It is an interactive site which students get access to update with their assignments, reminding them on what is due for class. 4. http://www.google.com/ Google is my best search engine ever since 2008. I though that’s the only purpose for Google. Later, I realized that I can create a Gmail account. Later, I found out that I can join Google group for EN210. I thought that was it for Google. This was previous to ED271. From ED271 I noticed that wonder wheel is the best part which gives a lot of information on what we search for. For instance, www.blogger.com allows me to create my blog. Another interesting part of Google is the Google Page. This allows me to create a webpage through my creativity and desire. I like it!! I rated GOOGLE APPS as~~~~
5. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ I am an internet explorer user. I never know about Firefox. I’ve been seeing it on computer screen in the lab…but I thought it’s only for decoration. If it wasn’t ED271, I wouldn’t know nothing about Firefox. It is a Free web browser that has many features which search in fast speed, and also the security keeps my PC safe from affecting viruses and threats. She encouraged me to use it. I even download it to my HP laptop…It is the best web browser!!!! I rated as ~~~
6. http://delicious.com/ Once I introduced to del.icio.us, I realized that it is a very great tool. It makes things go easier. It allows me to organize all important and favorite websites into one place. I bookmarks and tag the websites. I like it when tag help me to find the particular website i saved.It is interesting, fun and make my life more delicious. I RATED AS~~~~
7. PREZI is one of the most robust concept mapping/semantic mapping tools that I’ve seen. The first time I tried, WOW!! My eyes spin along with it. And I tried, I tried, and I figured it out! Just another way of creating presentation but…It is pretty much technical. It makes the presentation to become more dynamic, interactive, and engaging. I find it useful for organization, collaboration and project management. I will use prezi for my future presentation. So my recommendation to whoever come step in my footstep… ”TRY PREZI I rated this as~~~~~
8. www.mediafire.com It is a free websites where users can upload files. The uploaded files will be stored as long as the user logs into his or her account. Good thing about it is that Media fire will send at least 3 emails before they delete any users file(s). It is great! I used this websites to keep all my files on. So whenever I’m on line, I always log into my media fire accounts to see all my files. It is like an extension hardware or flash drive. Better save your files on Mediafire or else you’ll loose it someday. I rated this as~~~~
9. www.spicynodes.org This is one of the tools Ive learned in ED271. It is visually engaging and interactive way for visitors to explore a web site and immediately access the information they need. SpicyNodes’ tree structure represents information using interconnected "nodes" in a virtual space. This allows visitors to quickly glance at large volumes of information and see how each piece relates to others around it, and then quickly drill down for more . I once tried but it’s too confusing for me. My group used this for our class presentation. It is great!!it just that I need more practice . I rated this as~~~~
