There are 6 regular types of Russian banknotes as well as 2 special edition banknotes for the Sochi Olympics. The regular notes range in value from 10 rubles to 5000 rubles and are different colors. They feature various landmarks and historical sites from cities across Russia on the front and back, such as the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station, St. Petersburg's Neva statue, and Moscow's Bolshoy Theatre. The special 100 ruble notes for the Olympics are bluish-pink and feature a snowboarder and imagery from the Sochi games.
