The passage from Colossians instructs Christians to put off their old sinful selves and put on their new self in Christ. It gives several instructions:
1. Set your minds on heavenly things rather than earthly things and rid yourself of sins like sexual immorality and greed.
2. Also rid yourself of sins like anger, rage, and slander. Do not lie but instead embrace your new identity in Christ.
3. Clothe yourselves with virtues like compassion, kindness, humility, and forgiveness. Above all, put on love.
4. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts and dwell richly on Christ's message through songs and wisdom. Do all things in
It's hard for most people to grasp the concept of being a slave. Most would deny that they are servants. But the reality is that we are all slaves/servants to something. If one is honest with himself He'll admit that he is in bondage to his job, to a location where he lives, to a bad marriage, to a sick and dying body and most of all to sin. Paul speaks in the context to the Roman empire where the majority of his listeners are servants. You may not be this kind of a servant, but the principles are still applicable to employees, students and even children. Jesus did not come to rule but to serve. We are to do the same.
This Presentation is meant to warn people who desire to remain imperfect in their Christianity and encourage those who desire to be perfected in Christ Jesus.

Is it wrong to pray the rosary?
The rosary is a set of prayers common in the Roman Catholic Church, said during meditation on events in the lives of Jesus and of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
Rosary beads help Catholics count their prayers. More importantly, Catholics pray the rosary as a means of entreaty to ask God for a special favor, such as helping a loved one recover from an illness, or to thank God for blessings received — a new baby, a new job, whatever.
There are about 8 main prayers associated with the rosary covering a series of beads that dive the count of prayers one must make. The entire exercise takes about 20 minutes or so to do a rosary.

Can a born again believer in Christ become apostate? The Scriptures clearly tell us that the time will come when some Christians in the body of Christ will not endure sound doctrine. All of us ought to separate the precious from the vile, the truth from the error and sound doctrine from fables. We cannot delegate this responsibility to anybody else. To this end we have been freely given the written word of God that by the grace of God through faith in his name we might be lead into all truth through the Holy Spirit.
I hope this series of meditations will help the word of God renew your mind and that you will be ready for the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ.

the letter that Paul wrote to the Colossians 2,000 years ago is still
amazingly relevant. This message focuses on our position in Christ and
putting to death the old nature.
Being a Christian is challenging! We are challenged to imitate Christ! We are challenged to make our conduct consistent with our calling! We are challenged to remember where we were and where Jesus brought us. Yes, Christianity is challenging!

Do you not know: we are baptized into Jesus' death, you are a slave of sin or righteousness, as Christians we are dead to the law, the spirit of God dwells in you, a little sin spreads through the whole body, saints will judge the world, the unrighteous will not be in heaven, those who preach the gospel deserve payment, we should run the christian race to win, Christ in in you, friendship with the world is enmity with God.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
