The Fay B. Kaigler Children's Book Festival will take place from April 9-11, 2014 at the University of Southern Mississippi. The festival will celebrate 47 years of promoting excellence in children's literature and feature several renowned authors as speakers, including the Southern Miss Medallion winner. Additional featured authors are M.T. Anderson, Kathi Appelt, Mary Hamilton, Karen Nelson Hoyle, Leda Schubert, David Small and Sarah Stewart. The festival will also host the Ezra Jack Keats Book Awards and announce the winners of the Magnolia Award.
