The Chandler Engineering Automated Shear History Simulator (ASHS) consists of a pressurized fluid reservoir, two pumps, four tube assemblies, and integrated touch screen computer. It is designed to dynamically load fracturing fluids into a viscometer to simulate the pumping conditions experienced during fracture stimulation treatments. The base gel fluid and crosslinker additive are pumped through the tube assemblies at variable rates and durations set through the software interface. Pressure transducers monitor fluid behavior to ensure accurate simulation of downhole conditions.
