The document provides costume and makeup details for two characters, Gina Elward who will play the "GIRL" in all black clothes and dark eye makeup to portray sin and rebellion, and Louise Williams who will play the "HOODED FIGURE" in a black hoodie and jeans to remain mysterious as their face will not be seen. No props will be used.
This document discusses concepts of patriarchy, brotherhood, and romance in the novel Blood Red Road. It defines patriarchy as a male-dominated power structure throughout society and relationships where men have power over women. Brotherhoods in the novel exemplify qualities like strength in numbers and bonds that must be earned. The document examines the patriarchal society in the novel and who is oppressed versus who maintains oppression. It also analyzes the love triangle between the main character Saba and characters Lugh, De Malo, and Jack, and what draws her to each. Students are assigned homework including finishing the book and preparing for an in-class game.
WiFi was invented in 1991 by 5 men led by Dr. John O'Sullivan to allow electronic devices to communicate over a wireless radio signal. Now WiFi is ubiquitous and provides internet access from smartphones, laptops, and other devices anywhere within range of a WiFi network or hotspot. WiFi networks are commonly available both privately in homes and businesses and publicly in places like airports, hotels, and restaurants to attract customers.
A student is requesting permission to use the song "Wake Me Up" by Wham! in a two minute short film for their AS Level media coursework. The song will be played during intervals to help create a happy and upbeat atmosphere as the character dances to the music. The short film is not being made for profit and is solely for the student's coursework assignment to introduce their own film genre. The student has chosen this song because it fits the feeling they are trying to convey of being upbeat during the thriller genre film's opening two minutes.
This document lists various software, equipment, and their intended uses throughout the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of a film project. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Google, and YouTube will be used for research and pre-planning during pre-production. A tripod, microphone, and camera will be used to capture footage during the production stage. Software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop as well as a laptop will be utilized for editing, organizing, and adding credits during post-production.
Here are some key dystopian elements I found in The Giver and a potential thesis:
1. The community is highly structured and hierarchical, with citizens assigned roles. "It was Assignment Day." Everyone wears the same plain clothes.
2. Conformity is strictly enforced. Jonas notices differences but knows "it was not right to see more, or differently." Dissent is not tolerated.
3. Emotions are suppressed. Citizens take daily pills to blunt feelings. Memories are controlled by the Committee and Giver.
4. Constant surveillance through public address system and Assignment of labor. No sense of privacy.
5. Protagonist Jonas begins to question the strict rules of the community as he learns

CLASSIFICATION OF H1 ANTIHISTAMINICS-
FIRST GENERATION ANTIHISTAMINICS-
1)HIGHLY SEDATIVE-DIPHENHYDRAMINE,DIMENHYDRINATE,PROMETHAZINE,HYDROXYZINE 2)MODERATELY SEDATIVE- PHENARIMINE,CYPROHEPTADINE, MECLIZINE,CINNARIZINE
3)MILD SEDATIVE-CHLORPHENIRAMINE,DEXCHLORPHENIRAMINE
TRIPROLIDINE,CLEMASTINE
SECOND GENERATION ANTIHISTAMINICS-FEXOFENADINE,
LORATADINE,DESLORATADINE,CETIRIZINE,LEVOCETIRIZINE,
AZELASTINE,MIZOLASTINE,EBASTINE,RUPATADINE. Mechanism of action of 2nd generation antihistaminics-
These drugs competitively antagonize actions of
histamine at the H1 receptors.
Pharmacological actions-
Antagonism of histamine-The H1 antagonists effectively block histamine induced bronchoconstriction, contraction of intestinal and other smooth muscle and triple response especially wheal, flare and itch. Constriction of larger blood vessel by histamine is also antagonized.
2) Antiallergic actions-Many manifestations of immediate hypersensitivity (type I reactions)are suppressed. Urticaria, itching and angioedema are well controlled.3) CNS action-The older antihistamines produce variable degree of CNS depression. But in case of 2nd gen antihistaminics there is less CNS depressant property as these cross BBB to significantly lesser extent.
4) Anticholinergic action- many H1 blockers
in addition antagonize muscarinic actions of ACh. BUT IN 2ND gen histaminics there is Higher H1 selectivitiy : no anticholinergic side effects

This presentation gives information on the pharmacology of Prostaglandins, Thromboxanes and Leukotrienes i.e. Eicosanoids. Eicosanoids are signaling molecules derived from polyunsaturated fatty acids like arachidonic acid. They are involved in complex control over inflammation, immunity, and the central nervous system. Eicosanoids are synthesized through the enzymatic oxidation of fatty acids by cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase enzymes. They have short half-lives and act locally through autocrine and paracrine signaling.

Fexofenadine is sold under the brand name Allegra.
It is a selective peripheral H1 blocker. It is classified as a second-generation antihistamine because it is less able to pass the blood–brain barrier and causes lesser sedation, as compared to first-generation antihistamines.
It is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines. Fexofenadine has been manufactured in generic form since 2011.

PGx Analysis in VarSeq: A User’s PerspectiveGolden Helix
Since our release of the PGx capabilities in VarSeq, we’ve had a few months to gather some insights from various use cases. Some users approach PGx workflows by means of array genotyping or what seems to be a growing trend of adding the star allele calling to the existing NGS pipeline for whole genome data. Luckily, both approaches are supported with the VarSeq software platform. The genotyping method being used will also dictate what the scope of the tertiary analysis will be. For example, are your PGx reports a standalone pipeline or would your lab’s goal be to handle a dual-purpose workflow and report on PGx + Diagnostic findings.
The purpose of this webcast is to:
Discuss and demonstrate the approaches with array and NGS genotyping methods for star allele calling to prep for downstream analysis.
Following genotyping, explore alternative tertiary workflow concepts in VarSeq to handle PGx reporting.
Moreover, we will include insights users will need to consider when validating their PGx workflow for all possible star alleles and options you have for automating your PGx analysis for large number of samples. Please join us for a session dedicated to the application of star allele genotyping and subsequent PGx workflows in our VarSeq software.
Selective alpha1 blockers are Prazosin, Terazosin, Doxazosin, Tamsulosin and Silodosin majorly used to treat BPH, also hypertension, PTSD, Raynaud's phenomenon, CHF
