Students will: 
1. Do a PowerPoint presentation on their 
matchbox car racing experiment 
2. Make peer assessment on each group 
3. Discuss what they have learnt throughout 
the 8 lessons using KWL chart and review the 
concepts 
Smart board for presentation 
Peer Assessment sheet (Appendix 8.1) 
KWL chart (Appendix 1.1) 
Presentation- 
Each group will present what they have found and learnt 
through the matchbox car experiment (Group activity) 
Peer Assessment sheet- 
Students will fill out Peer Assessment sheet to assess the 
other groups. (Individual activity) 
KWL chart & Discussion- 
Teacher will collect the KWL chart for each group and go 
over each concept they have learnt throughout the lessons. 
(whole class activity) 
Matchbox car experiment : 
Assessed using a 4‐point scale to indicate the extent 
to which the student has met the four required 
elements in the report. Peer assessment sheets will 
be used to further evaluate the presentation. 
KWL chart & Discussion: 
Evaluation will be made by students’ ability to 
answer various questions during the discussion using 
the KWL chart.
