The story begins in 1992 with young Indiana Jones as a boy scout failed to retrieve the
Crossof Coronado from treasure hunters because the local sheriff returns the Cross of
Coronado to Fedora and his client, Panama Hat.
Time flies, Indiana Jones now a grown man, he successfully retrieves the Cross of
Coronado from Panama Hat and donates it to Marcus Brody’s museum.
Walter Donovan informs Indiana Jones that his father is missing while looking for the
Holy Grail, he and Marcus travel to Venice, Italy to gather information about his dad
with the help of Dr. Elsa Schneider and there he discovers the tomb of a night of the
“First Crusade” but the brotherhood of the Cruciform Sword blocks his way, he meets

4. 3. What scenesdo you findinterestingand inspiring?Why?
The most interestingscene of the story for me is when Indiana Jones and his father were caught
by the Nazi. They were trapped inside a burning room. It was very interesting because both of them
were tied by ropes in their body and I don't know how they going to escape it. I thought the story will
end on that but then again the day was saved by Indiana Jones' plan and action.
The most inspiring part of the movie for me is when the father of Indiana Jones was hit by bullet
intentionally. Isawthe emotionof IndianaJones. He wasveryworriedandhe wantedtosave his father.
IndianaJonesfacedthe conquest bravely for the good of his father. It was Aside from that, the love of
son tohis fatherwaspricelessandtrue. Itcan be saidthat IndianaJoneswill doanythingjust to save his
father.
4. What values do you find helpful? Why?
There are two values that I found helpful in the movies. First is to choose carefully who to
trust with.Inthe movie Dr.Elsa Schneiderpretendedtobe goodwithIndiana Jones eventually her true
color had been revealed that she was an enemy. It can be said that we must not trust people who we
don't knowverywell. We shouldthinkwisely sothatwe can avoidproblems. Second is to be contented
with the blessings you have don't aim to much that will turn yourself to an obsession. In the movie
Donovan and Schneider had an obsession to get the Holy Grail that later changed them to evil.
5. Eventually, thatobsessioncausedthemtodeath. We mustbe happyto whatwe have, accept the reality
of life that everyone will die in the right time.
5. Relationship of father and son. Do they have an ideal relationship? Why?
There is a goodrelationshipbetweenIndianaJonesandhisfather.Isaw the true love of son to
hisfather.Inthe movie IndianaJones'fatherwaslostfora longtime but his son didn't stop to find him.
Aside fromthat,a son is ready to do anything just for the safe of his father and vice versa, a father will
fightanythingforhisson. In the movie, hisfatherwasinthe crucial situation when he was hit by bullet.
His son faced every challenge and obstacle just to get the thing that will save the life of his father.
Eventually,Indianalearnedtoappreciate thatthe mostimportantthinginhislife ishisfathermore than
anything. Sometimes, Indiana Jones don't listen to his father but he always find out that his father is
right. At the end, Indiana Jones followed his dad to let go of the Holy Grail.
6. Why is the quest for the Holy Grail very important?
The HolyGrail wasbelievedtobe the cup that JesusChristusedduring the Last Supper. It was
alsousedto catch Christ’sbloodsathiscrucifixion.Theywant to get it because it was believed that the
Grail could give to whomever drank from it eternal life. For Indiana, he wanted to preserve to the
museum and achieve the dreams of his father. Dr. Elsa and Donovan wanted to achieve eternal life.
