3. What I’ll need to clear
• Willing actors to be in the video.
• Music played in the background – email the
artists management asking permission to use
the song and explain what its for.

4. • Can I have it animated?
• Film the real college but the character/s in it
be cartoons?

5. Music
• I want to have a think of what song or mix of
music I want as I want it to be relevant to the
video and tell a story with the video, so they
go together well and compliment eachother.
• I will either have one song or switch between
a few to suit the mood and give an idea of the
atmosphere.

6. Story plan
1) Based on 1 person, walking into the
college, looking at it from outside, taking a
breath and going to walk away but then seeing
someone they know and them saying are you
going in?!

7. • 2) They go inside and sit in on the different
courses as if they were part of that course.
• Record a quick clip of them having dinner on
the chairs downstairs and laughing and the
music students having a jam and sing along.
• End it with the student smiling and looking at
the camera from a distance.

8. • 3) Preperation I need to write a script for me the narrator. I will do this after recording and
when I’m watching it back.
• I need to write a script for the student on
what I want them to say and when I want
them to say it.
• I want a girl actor who starts off shy and
gradually comes out of her shell

9. • Somehow include gateshead college slogan –
‘hire education’
• Get the student or 3 different people in 3
different situations to say ‘Hiya’ ‘work myself
higher up’ ‘Ive been hired’ or ‘your hired’ to
show the 3 contents of the word of how it can
be used. And to pin point 3 stages in the
video.
