        • U aprilu 2005 postavljen prvi video-zapis (poseta zološkom vrtu
        jednog od osnivača, 19 sec, pregledano 1,96 miliona puta)
        • Svakog minuta se postavi više od 24h video-zapisa
        • Svakog dana se zabeleži preko 2 milijarde pregleda (1/3 svetske
          populacije!)
        • “Embed” funkcija uvedena u junu 2005 – omogućava lako
           uključenje video zapisa u druge web stranice (blogovi, sajtovi)
        • Prosečan korisnik dnevno provede 15-25 minuta na YouTube,
        ukupno 2,9 milijardi sati odn. 325.000 godina svakog meseca

        prava na video prenose (i skupo ih plaćaju) i “Flip” reportera!!!

        • Zimske olimpijske igre u Vankuveru 2010. su ocenjene kao prve
        “društvene” olimpijske igre
        • Za letnje igre u Londonu 2012. domaćini se pripremaju za nastup
        u društvenim medijima, ali teško je sada predvideti koje će sve
        pojavne oblike imati “gra ansko novinarstvo” kao i ogroman broj
        pojedinaca koji će “emitovati” sadržaj.
