Geese fly in a V formation to increase efficiency and flying range. Each goose flaps its wings to create uplift for the goose behind it, allowing the flock to travel 71% further than if they flew alone. If a goose falls out of formation, it encounters more drag from flying alone. Geese also help other geese that are sick or injured, demonstrating teamwork and sacrifice. Observing geese reminds us that working as a team is better than going alone, and that God designed animals with beneficial behaviors.
