William is a social entrepreneur from Malawi who has created windmills to provide energy and clean water. He needs funding to market and expand his business. Jake is a college student in LA who invests $30 on 33needs.com in William's project. 33needs is a crowdfunding platform that connects social entrepreneurs like William with investors like Jake to fund solutions for social and environmental issues. If William's project is successful, both he and Jake will benefit, along with 33needs and ultimately the world which gains another solution. This model shows how business can be used to create positive change.
