aprender mas, com a ajuda da nanny Daisy, será tudo muito mais fácil, pois ela tem uma flor mágica.
Os seus melhores amigos são a Melody e o Rudy. Eles são irmãos e têm um cão chamado Sid.
A Melody é muito simpática e meiga. O seu passatempo favorito é tocar piano. Ela e o seu irmão são
ingleses.
O Rudy gosta muito de jogar futebol e de brincar com o Sid, que adora pregar-lhe partidas. Ele é um

Mitos e lendas
Os mitos e as lendas são, geralmente, histórias baseadas em tradições, feitas para
explicar o universo, a criação do mundo, fenómenos naturais ou outro facto que pareça
inexplicável. Nestas histórias confunde-se a realidade com a fantasia, criando-se heróis
ou figuras irreais que acabam por nos ajudar a compreender como vivem, pensam,
se organizam e se relacionam povos de diferentes espaços e tempos.
O Adamastor, por exemplo, atormentava
os navegadores portugueses que tentavam
dobrar o cabo das Tormentas em busca
de novos horizontes. Tinha os olhos (eyes)
negros, os cabelos (hair) cheios de terra,
a boca (mouth) negra e os dentes amarelos.
O Monstro de Loch ness é um monstro
aquático que, segundo a lenda, habita no
lago com o mesmo nome e faz parte do
imaginário popular da Escócia e da cultura
deste país. Nessie é um exemplo clássico
de monstro.
CICLOPES eram gigantes que tinham
um só olho no centro da testa. Tinham fama
de brutos, aterrorizantes e mantinham
preso, para depois devorar, qualquer
navegante que passasse por perto
na Grécia Antiga.
