3. I am filing this affidavit on my behalf and on behalf of the 2nd Petitioner, who is my
husband. I am authorised by the 2nd Respondent to file this affidavit on his behalf.
2. The Petitioners prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to pass a WRIT
CERTIORARI or any other writ, order or direction in the nature of a writ, to call for the
records relating to the proceedings of the seventh to ninth respondents to get the approved
apartment in Pondicherry, Perumal Nager as per the agreement dated:02.11.99 between
fourth to sixth respondent in presence of the first and second respondent as per the order
of the seventh respondent and approved apartment in Valasaravakkam, Chennai from the
first respondent and pass such other or further order as this Hon'ble Court may award
suitable and adequate compensation of seven crores jointly for the loss, not tolerable
mental agony, threatening, undue harassment suffered due to the acts of the respondents
from 2008 deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case with
consequential benefits and thus render justice. The Petitioners crave leave of this Hon’ble
Court to read the affidavit filed in support of the above writ petition as part and parcel of
this affidavit.
3. The Petitioners submit that the grievances of the Petitioners are common as the
petitioners purchased the property jointly and hence, the Petitioners pray that they may be
permitted to join together and file a single Writ Petition. In these circumstances, the
Petitioners pray that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to permit the Petitioners to join
together and file a single Writ Petition and thus render justice.
