This one-hour CPD training programme provides an overview of electronic disclosure and discovery in litigation cases. The programme will review the key aspects of electronic disclosure under the CPR 31, including the definition of a document, the duty of search, and preserving and listing documents. It will also discuss how to conduct searches and disclosure in a cost-effective manner. The speaker, Elizabeth Ward, is an intellectual property lawyer who will share her expertise in precipitating evidence from hard drives and servers, and provide practical tips for those less familiar with IT systems as it relates to electronic disclosure. The training will take place on May 24, 2011 from 5:30-6:30pm at Leeds Metropolitan University in Leeds.
