4.2.8 health and safety risk assessment for venues (contingency plan)
2.2.1 Creative & media test
1. Creative and Media
Test
Task A
(1)
A) The audiences for our upcoming show shhh… would
mainly be directed to teenagers (14-18) since my self and the
others are teenagers. But anyone is welcome to come along to
watch our show, old adult, and young adult, children’s teachers’
even parents. The audiences would be mixed gender.
Our audience interests are to enjoy themselves while watching the
show, to laugh if something was funny from the show. To cry if a
part of a scene of the show was really emotion. The show should
be entertained. Most of our audiences haven’t seen mime
performance yet. But they say that they are looking forward to it,
as it is something new that they haven’t experienced yet.
People are looking forward to the show and they would pay any
amount if it doesn’t go over £5. So our ticket would be either £1.50
or £2.00.
B)
All the things that would be included in our mime performance are
comedy since most of our audiences liked to be entertained, to
make our entire scene suitable for our audiences. To make sure our
scene shows some education to the audiences.
2. Task B
(2) Things that I have learnt from the PowerPoint:
• If you are working in a group you have to adapt
different skills ability to your project so that the
project you or your group is working on is not
impractical
• To have all you ideas planned out
• To make sure that your project is suitable for the
space given
• To have a reasonable budget
• To analyse and find out what idea is the most
appropriate for the project or performance, by using
SWOT: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities,
threats
• Team workers reach arguments managing discussion
to achieve results
Task C
The mime artist (Stuart Luis) visited us for 2 lessons to give us the
history of mime, advices and ideas about our Mime performance.
These are some of the information giving to us:
• Mime was originated from Cave Men
• Real life performance started from the theatre of Dionysus
