question.

❖ Continuous Variable: A variable that may have
fractional values, e.g., height, weight and time.
❖ सतत चल: एक व्हेरिएबल ज्यामध्ये अंशात्मक मूल्ये असू
शकतात, उदा., उंची, वजन आणि वेळ.

❖ Control: A duplicate setup, sample or observation treated
identically to the rest of an experiment except for the variable
being tested. And the control variable is meant to represent what’s
normal or unchanged. For instance, if one wanted to see the effect
of adding fertilizer to a plant’s soil, the control would be the
growth of a plant with no fertilizer.
❖ नियंत्रण: डुप्लिकेट सेटअप, नमुने किंवा निरीक्षण तपासल्या जात असलेल्या व्हेरिएबल
वगळता उर्वरित प्रयोगाप्रमाणेच मानले जाते. आणि कंट्रोल व्हेरिएबल म्हणजे काय
सामान्य किंवा अपरिवर्तित आहे हे दर्शवण्यासाठी. उदाहरणार्थ, जर एखाद्याला झाडाच्या

❖ Control: Efforts on the researcher's part to
remove the effects of any variable other than the
independent variable that might affect
performance on a dependent variable.

❖ Control Group: The group in an experimental
design that receives either no treatment or a
different treatment from the experimental group.
This group can thus be compared to the
experimental group.
❖ प्रायोगिक रचनेत समूहाचे नियंत्रण करा ज्याला प्रायोगिक गटाकडून
कोणतेही उपचार किंवा वेगळे उपचार मिळत नाहीत. अशा प्रकारे या
गटाची प्रायोगिक गटाशी तुलना के ली जाऊ शकते.

❖ Control Statistics: The process of making research
conditions uniform or constant, so as to isolate the
effect of the experimental condition. When it is not
possible to control research conditions, statistical
controls often will be implemented in the analysis.
❖ संशोधन परिस्थिती एकसमान किंवा स्थिर बनविण्याच्या प्रक्रियेवर
नियंत्रण ठेवा, जेणेकरून प्रायोगिक स्थितीचा प्रभाव वेगळा करता
येईल. जेव्हा संशोधन परिस्थिती नियंत्रित करणे शक्य नसते, तेव्हा
विश्लेषणामध्ये सांख्यिकीय नियंत्रणे अनेकदा लागू केली जातात.
