❖ Nominal Variable: A variable determined by
categories that cannot be ordered, e.g., gender
and color.
❖ नाममात्र व्हेरिएबल: श्रेण्यांद्वारे निर्धारित केले जाणारे चल, उदा.,
लिंग आणि रंग.

❖ Non-directional hypothesis: A prediction that a
relationship exists without specifying its exact
nature.

❖ Nonequivalent control group design: An experimental
design involving at least two groups, both of which may be

ordinal or nominal scale, or when assumptions
required for parametric tests cannot be met.
