Here are three open public slides that I use in my lectures. It shows how people go from looking at a mountain view to thinking about the media's influence on their evaluation of the scenary, and the means by which they stand in an unusual place to view it. The ability to make large numbers of copies through printing technology, to translate Hebrew Bibles into Latin and German, and to easily make and distribute copies is similar to the modern Internet society with SNS, isn't it. I hope this slides are designed to get people to think about perspectives and views that have been expanded by media and technology, from tourism to conservation of nature, conservation of cultural heritage, and in the future, conservation of the entire planet that is only one earth/globe. This project assisted Miljøpunkt Amager in designing green spaces for the Langebro bridge in Copenhagen. The objectives were to understand public opinions on green spaces, assess preferences through a survey of 100 people, and create three pocket park designs labeled A, B, and C to green the surface of the bridge. The designs featured biodiversity and open spaces. Other proposed features included algae-powered lamps. Limitations included needing further public feedback, feasibility studies, and protections for the green spaces.
Metric Oblique Imagery Technology
This paper was presented at Map World Forum 2009 and reflects the current state of metric oblique imagery compared to historic usage.
Sindhura Bojja Portfolio - AutoCAD compilation

Cumbernauld was designated as a new town in the 1950s to accommodate overcrowding in Glasgow and the surrounding Clyde Valley region. The initial 1958 plan envisioned a population of 50,000 people in a compact, high density development centered around a single hilltop town center. This plan emphasized a revolutionary road network and transportation-focused design. Later plans in 1962 and 1973 expanded the population capacity and built out surrounding neighborhoods, incorporating lower densities and accounting for a new major highway. The development aimed to create a complete, self-contained town through innovative urban planning and design of both the built environment and new landscape.

RWMC: Sharing photographic memories in the digital age

Document changes such as cutting of rain forest, clearing of land, etc.
Weather permitting, we'll meet outside and discuss how to do the mapping, covering what's needed to take the photos and use software to stitch them together into a single georegistered photomap. We'll fly kites or balloons to take pictures and afterwards make and share the map. We'll briefly discuss advanced topics including integration of gps data, dual-camera based multispectral imagery, 3-D Digital Elevation Models, UAVs and automated image processing.

Time-Layered Gamic Interaction with a Virtual Museum Template
Abstract. This paper discusses a simplified workflow and interactive learning opportunities for exporting map and location data using a free tool, Recogito into a Unity game environment with a simple virtual museum room template. The aim was to create simple interactive virtual museums for humanities scholars and students with a minimum of programming or gaming experience, while still allowing for interesting time-related tasks. The virtual environment template was created for the Oculus Quest and controllers but can be easily adapted to other head-mounted displays or run on a normal desktop computer. Although this is an experimental design, it is part of a project to increase the use of time-layered cultural data and related mapping technology by humanities researchers.

Aerial Photography Mapping Patrick Coyle, P.E. – Belize Open Source This session will demonstrate Simple Aerial Photography Mapping with Balloons or Kites. Aerial photomaps can be very useful for EWB teams for their projects and the communities they work with. Example applications include: community planning, site planning, land boundary adjudication, agricultural planning, ecological evaluations, and documenting changes such as cutting of rain forest, clearing of land, etc. Weather permitting, we’ll meet outside and discuss how to do the mapping, covering what’s needed to take the photos and use software to stitch them together into a single georegistered photomap. We’ll fly kites or balloons to take pictures and afterwards make and share the map. We’ll briefly discuss advanced topics including integration of gps data, dual-camera based multispectral imagery, 3-D Digital Elevation Models, UAVs and automated image processing. Participants are making map from photos taken during session.

environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
