To create an internal facing campaign for an
education piece aimed at senior managers.
The campaign was designed to tie in closely
with the HSBC ethos of ‘Supporting Human
Ambition’ and would be reproduced in a
range of materials such as work-book covers,
posters and pull-up banners.
The campaign focuses on the idea of being
courageous in business and in management.
The concept was designed to be aspirational
and elicit a sense of adventure using first
person photography and the subject headers
of ‘Explorers, Trailblazers and Leaders’.

To celebrate the HSBC’s 150th Anniversary,
a range of collateral, event materials and
guidelines were to be produced throughout
2015. The items included:
–– A gold and enamel lapel pin
–– A commemorative coin
–– Menus, stationery, invitations
–– Evaluation brochure
–– The layout and design of a stone plaque
located in the entrance of HSBC’s
UK headquarters
–– The full dressing and artworking of the
lobby of 8 Canada Square, including the
design and production of a 15 metre
light box.
9. Proposals for Midland Bank Rebrand
B R I E F
An exercise to start initial proposals for a
rebrand from the UK arm of HSBC back to
it’s original Midland Bank roots.
It was requested the logo should have some
direct links to the current HSBC Master Brand
Signature using the right angled triangle
element from the Hexagon.
The proposed logos were designed to breathe
new life into the banks UK sector, with a much
younger, modern feel that can also easily be
adapted into a favicon or app icon.

To develop a range of six 50 metre illustrations
that capture the HSBC core values of being
Open, Connected and Dependable to be used
in HSBC offices worldwide.
This also included the artworking and
production of both the Workplace guidelines
as well as project managing certain sites.
