The Chief Minister of Telangana has delegated powers relating to preventive detentions under six acts to the Chief Secretary of Telangana. These acts relate to the prevention of smuggling, black marketing, national security, narcotics trafficking, and dangerous activities by communal offenders, bootleggers, and land grabbers. The delegation of powers is effective immediately and will remain in place until further orders are issued.
