We, Tres Volcanes Neighborhood Association, object to the West-side stadium and
educational corridor being developed at the proposed location at 98th Street and Arroyo
Vista.
Tres Volcanes Neighborhood Association is aware of many concerns raised by a
significant number of neighbors about the Albuquerque Public Schools proposed stadium
and sports complex being developed at the current proposed site of 98th Street/Arroyo
Vista and supports, in accordance with the March 9, 2011 Resolution A, that the site at
Double Eagle II Roadway/Paseo Del Volcan would better serve the City of Albuquerque
and align with the Westland Master Plan (see attached Resolution A).
Some of the many concerns raised are as follows:
Negative Impact on Property Traffic / Infrastructure
Values Budget for Maintenance of APS
Noise and Lights Property
Crime Budget for Additional Law
Trash / Pollution Enforcement/Patrols
These concerns have not been addressed to the satisfaction of our neighbors and therefore
Tres Volcanes Neighborhood Association continues to objects to the current proposed
location and advocates another site be selected to develop the stadium, sports complex,
and educational corridor.

The Tres Volcanes Neighborhood Association Board of Directors hereby
approves the following resolution:
Resolution:
A. Tres Volcanes Neighborhood Association supports building the
Albuquerque Public Schools Athletic Complex, Stadium, and
"education corridor" at Double Eagle II Roadway, formerly known as
Paseo Del Volcan. This proposed site better aligns with the original
and amended Westland Master Plan which defined a high school to be
built at this location.
