This document provides an overview of how children are portrayed in the biblical texts of the Old and New Testaments. It discusses how children were seen as blessings from God and vital members of the community in both the Hebrew Bible and writings of prophets. The New Testament writings of Jesus and Paul continued this theme of welcoming and affirming children for their inherent worth rather than just their potential. Overall, the biblical texts demonstrate that children have always been an essential part of God's family and the church community.

Near Stavanger, Norway there is a mysterious rock called Preikestolen, or "The Pulpit Rock", that rises 600 meters above Lysefjorden fjord. It is a popular tourist attraction in the area. To reach the top of Preikestolen involves a 270 meter climb up a well-marked trail over nearly 2 hours. The view from the top, 600 meters above the fjord, is breathtaking. Hikers should be in good physical condition and wear proper trekking shoes for the climb, though the trail is well-tracked. The document includes photos from the hike up to and views from the top of Preikestolen.

This document summarizes a presentation about recognition and appreciation in 4-H programs. It discusses the national 4-H recognition model of participation, progress towards goals, achieving standards of excellence, peer competition, and cooperation. It also covers different languages of appreciation including words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, tangible gifts, and physical touch. The presentation aims to make recognition in 4-H more meaningful and memorable by balancing these different types of recognition and integrating it fully into the 4-H experience.
The document introduces The Key 2, a training resource for those who work with children and young people. It is a follow up to The Key and aims to further equip volunteers and workers through three interactive sessions. The sessions explore understanding the world from a youth perspective, developing faith and discipleship, and working more effectively with children and youth through developing skills like listening, facilitating groups, and empowering youth leadership. The goal is to motivate and prepare volunteers for their roles working with children and youth.
Guy Fawkes Night is celebrated on November 5th in Britain. People make effigies of Guy Fawkes from old clothes and burn them, saying "Penny for the guy!" St. Valentine's Day falls on February 14th, when people exchange cards and gifts called valentines with their sweethearts. It originated from the belief that birds chose mates on this day. This document provides guidance on using music in collective worship in schools. It discusses selecting new material, introducing new songs, linking school and parish worship through music, using music to create an atmosphere for worship, and some practical issues around copyright and resources. Key recommendations include planning the introduction of new songs, using music to enhance the theme of worship assemblies, and maintaining a sense of worship even when learning new material. The document also provides examples of how schools can partner with local parishes through joint services and having school choirs participate in parish worship.
This document discusses craft activities done with boys and girls at a church conference. It notes that the girls carefully replicated the example craft, while the boys created more unique and varied puppets. This confirms research showing boys have an innate desire for risk and activity, while sitting still for long periods is difficult for them. The author believes churches can better engage boys by allowing more freedom and movement in activities.

A.仅仅 I 和 II。 B.仅仅 II 和 III。 C.仅仅 I 和 III。 D.仅仅 I。
R 和 T 不能在同一个小组;
如果 S 在第一组,那么 V 必须在第一组;
如果 W 在第一组,那么 T 必须在第二组;
A.R B.S C.T D.V
解析:如果 V 和 Y 在第一组,那么根据条件如果 S 在第一组,那么 V 必须在第一组;
(1)每位教授只评审一篇博士论文;
(2)每篇博士论文至少有一位教授评审;
(3)H 与 F 评审同一篇博士论文;
(4)L 只与其他教授中的一位同评一篇博士论文;
(5)G 评审马博士的论文;
(6)J 评审马博士或吴博士的论文;
A.F B.K C.J D. L
