The document outlines the process for creating PET webbing from recycled PET bottles. It involves retrieving and compressing PET bottles into bricks, separating impurities and producing flakes, drying and packaging the flakes, melting the flakes into pellets, and weaving the pellets into webbing using normal weaving processes like warping, weaving, coating, inspection, and packing. Quality control testing is done by organizations like SGS and TESTEX Japan-JSIF.
This document discusses a project to improve stitching margins through the use of stitching gauges. It recommends installing stitching gauges in all stitching procedures, including collar stitching, stroble stitching, and other procedures, to ensure consistent stitching quality and smooth, even margins across operations. Customized gauges may be used for different materials and models to achieve the best stitching results with consistency.
This document summarizes the capabilities and process for creating digital woven materials. Key points include:
- The material can be made with different yarn densities, colors, textures, and stretch properties for various graphic designs and effects.
- Samples are available showing single or double layer fabrics with options like 3D textures, color gradients, and metallic/recycled yarns.
- Production lead time is 4-6 weeks with a minimum order quantity of 2,000 pairs per style and a maximum width of 120cm for non-stretch designs.
- The company has 37 weaving machines currently with a goal of 61 by end of 2015 to increase daily capacity to over 450,000 pairs per month.

This document discusses chromium-free (Cr-free or FOC) leathers as an alternative to traditional chromium-tanned leathers. It notes that some countries have banned chemicals like formaldehyde and heavy metals used in traditional leather production. Cr-free leathers contain no chromium except small amounts of aluminum, zirconium, or titanium, and are tanned using synthetic and vegetable tanning agents instead of minerals. The document outlines the advantages of Cr-free leathers from environmental, regulatory, marketing, and physical properties perspectives, and compares Cr-free and chromium-tanned leathers. It also lists some weaknesses currently exhibited by Cr-free leathers.

MATTER reflects green process/technology in compressed rubber with natural wood and fiber-less chemicals, wastes, and energy. It will generate strong echoes in industry and market upon launching it with positively strong statement to defend environment without adding extra cost. Great benefits in physical sale and company image it will bring for you as well. Not mention to natural environment defending in return. Again this is the really big objective we are trying to achieve so MATTER-environment lover/green solution would like to give some kicks for leading brand in the markets with you guys. Therefore, XYL has sensed urgent demand and great opportunity to bring up it to the level of direct buyers representing final consumers for promoting a healthier surrounding with efforts from all parties in the industry.

Beautiful Girl by Mr. Brainwash is a mixed media artwork on paper done in 2023. It is unique and of course signed by Mr. Brainwash. The picture is a tribute to his own most successful work of art, the Balloon Girl. In this new creation, however, the theme of the little girl is slightly modified.
In Mr. Brainwash’s mixed media artwork titled “Beautiful Girl,” we are presented with a captivating depiction of a little girl adorned in a summer dress, with two playful pigtails framing her face. The artwork exudes a sense of innocence and whimsy, as the girl is shown in a dreamy state, lifting one end of her skirt and looking down as if she were about to dance. Through the use of mixed media, Mr. Brainwash skillfully combines different artistic elements to create a visually striking composition. The vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes bring the artwork to life, evoking a sense of joy and happiness. The attention to detail in the girl’s expression and body language adds depth and character to the piece, allowing viewers to connect with the young protagonist on a personal and emotional level. “Beautiful Girl” is a testament to Mr. Brainwash’s unique artistic style, blending elements of street art, pop art, and contemporary art to create a visually captivating and emotionally resonant artwork.
The use of mixed media in “Beautiful Girl” adds an additional layer of complexity to the artwork. By combining different artistic techniques and materials, such as stencils, spray paint, and collage, Mr. Brainwash creates a dynamic and textured composition that grabs the viewer’s attention. The juxtaposition of different textures and patterns adds depth and visual interest to the piece, while also emphasizing the artist’s eclectic and experimental approach to art-making. The inclusion of collage elements, such as newspaper clippings and torn posters, further enhances the artwork’s urban and contemporary feel. Overall, “Beautiful Girl” is a visually captivating and thought-provoking artwork that showcases Mr. Brainwash’s talent for blending different artistic elements to create a truly unique and engaging piece.

Our story begins in Canada thousands of years
ago, when our ancestors created the mukluks
and moccasins you see in these pages.
Throughout history, each Aboriginal nation used
distinctive skins and beadwork to reflect their
customs and culture.
Today, as Métis, we create authentic, functional
footwear that connects our traditional handwork
with new materials and production techniques.
Stitch by stitch, bead by bead,
we tell the story of our people.
All of our products are made in Canada

Tanning is an intricate process that STONE Vibram: 2017107 Crepe: 2017007
requires time and patience.
Traditionally, our ancestors used flat,
palm-sized stones with beveled edges
as scrapers. They also used bone,
wood and trees in their work, pull-
ing the skins back and forth around
a smooth-bark tree until the hide was
ready for a four-day bath in ash and GATHERER MID

After that, a time-tested mixture of
sunlight, brain-tanning and hand-
smoothing would dry and soften the
hide into a perfect piece of leather

66. Made in Canada
CONTINUING A TRADITION
At Manitobah, we aim to make the world’s most comfortable,
authentic traditional footwear. To achieve this, we manufacture
our products in Canada, where Aboriginal footwear has been
made for thousands of years.
Keeping production close to our ancestral home allows us
to remain authentic. And, of course, a “Made-in-Canada” label
means respect for ethical working conditions, fair wage labour
and - ultimately - our people.
