LIFE ElderCare is a non-profit organization that has provided services to seniors in the Tri-City area of Fremont, Newark, and Union City since 1975. Some of their key programs include Meals on Wheels, a friendly visitor program, and transportation assistance. Their Falls Prevention program provides in-home exercise routines coached by nursing students to help reduce falls among seniors. Falls are a major health issue for those over 60 and a leading cause of injury, loss of independence, and even death for older adults. The Falls Prevention program is free and aims to help frail, homebound seniors in the Tri-City area reduce their risk of falling through simple exercise routines.
Youth opportunity fair 2015-updated 2015-02-03

Immediate Implant Placement and Temporization
This document describes three cases of immediate implant placement and temporization performed by Dr. Yair Lenga. For each case, it provides details of the pre-operative assessment, flapless extraction, implant placement with various Astra implants, insertion of temporary abutments and provisional crowns, and follow-up appointments up to 4 months post-operatively. The cases involve patients Mr. M.L., Mr. C.P. who had a fractured tooth from trauma, and Miss A.M. Dr. Lenga performed all of the surgical and restorative procedures for immediate implant placement, temporization and follow-up care.

Taurodontism is characterized by teeth with enlarged and elongated pulp chambers and apical displacement of the bifurcation or trifurcation of roots. This anomaly occurs either as an isolated, singular trait or in association with syndromes and with some ectodermal anomalies. The aim of this review is to address the etiology, radiographic features and clinical considerations in the treatment of such teeth. It can be seen that taurodontism has until now received insufficient attention from clinicians.

Bike equity means believing the stories people have to share about what it's like for them to be in the street. There's more to safety than being seen, and we need to believe when people tell us about insecurity beyond traffic violence.
Can we build common cause for safe streets that includes the fears of racial discrimination keeping so many people in their cars? What do enforcement-based approaches to traffic safety look like when they respect and address the realities of police mistrust? With insights gathered from bike/ped advocates this fall, we worked with Dr. Echo Rivera to craft images that shed light on why race matters in active transportation.
As a national organization, the League of American Bicyclists has a role to play in convening tough conversations. We're going to keep this Seeing & Believing project going as we shed light on complex barriers to active transportation.

ACS 2013: 70 Largest Cities with the Highest Bicycle Commute Rates
Commuting trends have changed dramatically over the years. More and more Americans are turning to alternative means to get to and from work. Every year, we rank the top 70 largest cities with the highest percentage of bicycle commuters by population from data in the U.S. Census Bureau’s
American Community Survey. This is the ranking for 2013.

The League also reached over 1 million views for its groundbreaking report on women cyclists, and its advocacy helped secure over $100 million in public funds for bicycle and pedestrian projects across the country. Looking to the future, the League has a bold mission to build a bicycle friendly America for everyone.
