Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

texnologiyasi axborot tizimlarida mavjud bo`lgan ma`lumotlar
ustida bajariladigan turli xil murakkablikdagi amallar va
algoritmlarni bajarishdan iborat bo`lgan tartiblashtirilgan
jarayondir.
Axborot texnologiyasining vujudga kelishi va rivojlanishini
belgilovchi ichki va tashqi omillar mavjud.
Ichki omillar – bu axborotning paydo bo`lishi (yaratilishi),
turlari, xossalari, axborotlar bilan turli amallarni bajarish, ularni
jamlash, uzatish, saqlash va boshqalar.
Tashqi omillar - bu axborot texnologiyasining texnik –
uskunaviy vositalar orqali axborotlar bilan turli vazifalarni amalga
oshirishni o’z ichiga oladi. 11

16. Axborot texnologiyalari bir necha turlarga
bo`linadi:
1.Ma`lumotlarga ishlov beruvchi axborot
texnologiyalari. Ular ma`lum aniq algoritmlar
bo`yicha boshlang`ich ma`lumotlarga ishlov beruvchi
masalalarni yechishga mo`ljallangan. Masalan, har bir
tashkilotda o`zining xodimlari haqidagi axborotga
ishlov beruvchi.
2.Boshqarishning axborot texnologiyalari. Ularning
maqsadi ish faoliyatida qaror qabul qilish bilan
bog`liq bo`lgan insonlarning axborotga bo`lgan
talabini qondirishdan iborat. Masalan, boshqarishning
axborot tizimlari tashkilotning o’tmishdagi faoliyati,
hozirgi holati va kelajagi haqidagi axborotni qayta
ishlab beruvchi. 16
17. 3.Tashkilot axborot texnologiyasi.
Avtomatlashtirilgan tashkilot zamonaviy axborot
texnologiyalari bu - tashkilot ichidagi va tashqi muhit
bilan kommunikatsion jarayonlarni kompyuter
tarmoqlari va axborotlar bilan ishlovchi boshqa
zamonaviy vositalar asosida tashkil etish va qo`llab-
quvvatlashdan iborat. Buning uchun maxsus dasturiy
vositalar ham ishlab chiqilgan. Ulardan biri Microsoft
Office dasturlar majmuasidir. Uning tarkibiga matn
muharriri, elektron jadval, taqdimot muharriri,
ma`lumotlar omborini boshqarish tizimlari kiradi.
Hozirgi paytdagi kompyuterlar uchun ko`plab
dasturiy vositalar mavjudki, ular barcha turdagi axborot
texnologiyalarini ta`minlay oladi.

18. 4. Ma`lumotlar ombori. Har qanday axborot
texnologiyasining majburiy elementi ma`lumotlar
omboridir (MO). Avtomatlashtirilgan tashkilotda MO
firmaning ishlab chiqarish tizimi haqidagi barcha
ma`lumotlarni o`zida saqlaydi.
5.Elektron pochta (E-mail) - kompyuterlardan
tarmoqda foydalanishga asoslangan bo`lib,
hamkorlarga ma`lumotlar jo`natish yoki ulardan
ma`lumot olish imkoniyatini yaratadi. Audiopochta -
bu ma`lumotlarni klaviatura yordamida emas, balki
tovush orqali uzatuvchi elektron pochtadir.

19. Axborot texnologiyalari, shu jumladan,
kompyuterlar keng qo`llanilib kelayotgan
ayrim sohalarni sanab o`tamiz.
Bank sohasi. Bank tizimi o`zining ish
faoliyatida axborot texnologiyalaridan keng
foydalanish imkoniyatiga ega bo`lgan
tashkilot hisoblanadi.
Biznes sohasi. Axborot texnologiyalari yangi
korxona yoki firmaning muvaffaqiyat bilan
faoliyat ko`rsatishida katta rol o`ynaydi.

20. 3. Raqamli iqtisodiyotda axborot kommunikatsiya
texnologiyalarining o‘rni va vazifasi.
Prezidentimizning Oliy Majlisga
Murojaatnomasida raqamli iqtisodiyotga faol o‘tish
kelgusi 5 yildagi eng ustuvor vazifalardan biri
sifatida belgilandi. Shuningdek, o’tgan yilni Ilm,
ma’rifat va raqamli iqtisodiyotni rivojlantirish yili
deb e’lon qilingani bejiz emas.
Davlat dasturida belgilangan vazifalar ijrosini
ta’minlash borasida Axborot texnologiyalari va
kommunikatsiyalarini rivojlantirish vazirligi oldiga
o‘ta muhim va dolzarb vazifalar qo‘yilgan.

21. Raqamli iqtisodiyot, birinchi navbatda,
korrupsiyadan xoli hududda ishlash imkoniyatini yaratadi.
U “xufiyona iqtisodiyot”ning asosiy kushandasidir.
Chunki raqamlar hamma narsani muhrlaydi, xotirada
saqlaydi. Kerak paytda ma’lumotlarni tez taqdim etadi.
Bunday sharoitda biror ma’lumotni bekitish, yashirin
bitimlar tuzish, u yoki bu faoliyat haqida to‘liq axborot
bermaslikning iloji qolmaydi, Buning natijasida esa
iqtisodiyotga yo‘naltirilgan qonuniy mablag‘lar joy-joyiga
sarflanadi.
Ayniqsa, soliqlarning o‘z vaqtida to‘g‘ri
hisoblanishi va to‘lanishi, byudjet taqsimoti oshkoraligi,
ijtimoiy sohaga yo‘naltirilgan mablag‘lar, maktablarga,
shifoxonalarga, yo‘llarga ajratilgan pullar to‘liq o‘z
manziliga maqsadli yetib borishiga zamin yaratiladi. 21
22. Robototexnika sohasi. Ma`lumki, "robot"
so`zi bizning tilimizga ilmiy fantastikadan kirib
kelgan bo`lib, "qul" degan ma`noni bildiradi.
Birinchi bor bu so`zni 60 yil oldin taniqli Chex
fantast yozuvchisi Karl Chepek ishlatgan. Ammo
"mexanik odamlar" undan oldinroq ham ma`lum edi.
O`rta asrlarda inson iste`dodlariga ega
bo`lgan musiqachi qo`g`irchoq yoki rassom-
qo`g`irchoqlar paydo bo`lganligi ma`lum.
Kompyuter asri boshlanishi bilan insonni
og`ir va zararli mehnatdan ozod etadigan robotlar
paydo bo`ldi. Ular garchi odam qiyofasida
bo`lmasada, ko`plab vazifalarni bajara oladilar.

23. Marketing sohasi. Marketing inglizcha
"market" (bozor) so`zidan olingan bo`lib, bozor,
savdo sohasidagi faoliyatni anglatadi. Marketingda
eng asosiysi, bozorni, xaridorlar talab va ehtiyojlarini
chuqur va har taraflama o`rganish va ishlab
chiqarishni shuning asosiga qurish, ikkinchi
tomondan esa bozorga, mavjud talab va ehtiyojga
ta`sir ko`rsatish, xaridorlarning muayyan mollarga
bo`lgan talablarini shakllantirishdan iborat. Boshqa
viloyat (tuman, shahar)dagi bozor narxlarini
o`rganish. Marketing sohasini kompyuter va axborot
texnologiyalarisiz tasavvur etish qiyin, ayniqsa,
qimmatli qog`oz bozorini.

24. Ta`lim - tarbiya sohasi. Ta`lim sohasida
asosiy vositalardan biri bu didaktik
ta`minotlardir. Didaktik ta`minotga o`quv
materialining o`zgargan shakllari - slayd,
diagramma, jadval, test, virtual laboratoriya
va boshqalar kiradi. Bunday ta`minotlarni
yaratishda kompyuterdan foydalanishning
imkoniyati keng va kelgusida bu ta`minotni
o`zgartirib, takomillashtirib borish ham
mumkin. Bundan tashqari masofadan ta`lim
olish, mustaqil o`rganish kabi imkoniyatlarni
ham yaratib beradi.

25. Ishlab chiqarish sohasi. Ishlab chiqarishning deyarli barcha
sohalarida kompyuterlar qo`llanilib kelmoqda. Kompyuterlar
ko`pgina texnologik jarayonlarni boshqarishi, ular yordamida
yangi mahsulotning chizmasini yaratishdan toki tayyor mahsulot
bo`lib chiqquniga qadar bo`lgan barcha jarayonlarni
avtomatlashtirishi, mahsulot shaklini konstruktor kompyuter
ekranida chizib, tegishli o`zgartirishlar kiritib, qog`ozga chop
etishi va boshqa amallarni bajarishi mumkin.
Bundan tashqari mahsulotni ishlab chiqarish uchun
kerakli barcha qurilmaning imkoniyatlari, unga ketadigan sarf-
xarajatlarni hisob-kitob qilishda ham kompyuter eng yaxshi
yordamchidir. Mahsulotni ishlab chiqarishda axborot asosiy
kompyuterdan ishlab chiqarish liniyalariga yetkaziladi. U yerda
axborotni qabul qilishga tayyor turgan robotlar kompyuter
uzatgan dastur asosida mahsulotni yig`a boshlaydi. Tayyor
mahsulotlar esa robotlar yordamida tekshirilib, omborlarga
jo`natiladi.

26. Tibbiyot sohasi. Kompyuterlarning shifoxonalarda paydo
bo`lishi ko`p narsalarni, jumladan, yuqoridagi muammolarni ham
tubdan o`zgartirib yuboradi. Siz to`g`ridan-to`g`ri shifokor
huzuriga yo`l olasiz. Uning ish stolida odatdagi meditsina ish
qurollaridan tashqari kompyuter ham joy olgan: uning xotirasida
barcha bemorlarning kasallik tarixi yozib qo`yilgan. Agar siz oldin
ham murojaat etgan bo`lsangiz, siz haqingizdagi ma`lumot ham
bo`ladi.
Birinchi bor murojaat etayotgan bo`lsangiz siz
haqingizdagi barcha axborotni shu yerning o`zida shifokor
kompyuterga kiritib qo`yadi. Kasalligingiz haqidagi barcha
ma`lumotlar kompyuterga kiritilgach, sizning kasalligingiz
bo`yicha tez va aniq tashxis kompyuter tomonidan qo`yiladi va
chop etish qurilmasi yordamida dorilar uchun ro`yxat ham chop
etib beriladi. Dorilar ro`yxatini olib, boshqa kompyuter yordamida
ushbu dorilarni eng yaqin bo`lgan qaysi dorixonalardan topish
mumkinligini ham bilib olish mumkin.

27. Kompyuter va san`at. Kompozitor musiqa yaratishda
kompyuterdan unumli foydalanishi mumkin. Buning
uchun kichik real yoki elektro organ yordamida
kompyuterga ulanib yozayotgan musiqa notalarini
ekranda ko`rib turgan holda yangi asar yaratishi va shu
yerning o`zida, shu onda eshitib ko`rishi ham mumkin.
Kompyuterlar rassomlarga ham ko`p yoqib qolgan.
Kompyuter grafikasi bo`yicha birinchi ko`rgazma
1956-yili o`tkazilgan. Turli eskizlar, chizmalar va rasmlar
chizishda rassomlar kompyuterdan foydalanib
kelmoqdalar. Bundan tashqari, kino va televideniyani
ham kompyuterlarsiz tasavvur etish qiyin. Hozirgi davrda
turli joylarda, mintaqalarda, hatto qit`alarda yashaydigan
insonlar ishtirokida telekonferensiyalar o`tkazish
an`anaga aylanib qolmoqda.

28. 4. Raqamlashtirish mohiyati, kelib chiqish sabablari, shart-
sharoitlari va darajalari
Raqamli iqtisodiyot tushuncha nisbatan uzoq bo'lmagan
vaqtda, 1995-yili Massachusets universitetida, amerikalik olimi
Nikolas Negroponte tomonidan aniqlab berilgan.
Raqamli iqtisodiyot - bu xo'jalik faoliyatini yuritish bo'lib,
bunda ishlab chiqarish va xizmat ko'rsatishdagi asosiy omil
raqamlar ko'rinshidagi ma'lumotlar bo'lib, katta hajmdagi
axborotlarni qayta ishlash va shu qayta ishlash natijasini tahlil qilish
yordamida har xil turdagi ishlab chiqarish, xizmat ko'rsatish,
texnologiyalar, qurilmalar, saqlash, mahsulotlarni yetkazib berishda
oldingi tizimga nisbatan samaraliroq yechimlarni tadbiq qilishdir.
Boshqacha qilib aytgancha, raqamli iqtisodiyot bu onlayn
xizmatlar ko'rsatish, elektron tulovlar amalga oshirish, internet
savdo, kraudfanding va boshqa turdagi sohalarni raqamli kompyuter
texnologiyalarini rivojlanishi bilan bog'langan faoliyatdir.

29. Asosan raqamli iqtisodiyotni rivojlanishining
asosiy elementi sifatida elektron tijorat, internet
banking, elektron tulovlar, internet reklama va shu bilan
birga, internet o'yinlari ko'riladi.
Raqamli iqtisodiyotning afzalliklari. Albatta, axborot-
kommunikatsiya texnologiyalarining rivojlanishi,
zamonaviy texnologiyalarning hayotimizga tadbiq
etilishi har bir inson hayotida ko'plab ijobiy
imkoniyatlar berishi mumkin. Raqamli texnologiyalar
rivojlanishi ortidan inson, unga kerakli xizmatdan
tezroq foydalanishi, internet orqali o'ziga kerakli
mahsulotlarni arzon sotib olish bilan ko'plab pul
mablag'larini tejashi mumkin.

bo'lib ketishi mumkin.
Raqamli iqtisodiyoti rivojlangan dunyo davlatlari.
"Raqamli" davlatlar bugungi kunda Norvegiya, Shvetsiya va
Shvetsariya hisoblanishadi. Raqamli iqtisodiyot rivojlangan 10
ta davlatlar qatoriga AQSH, Buyuk Britaniya, Daniya,
Finlandiya, Singapur, Yaponiya, Janubiy Koreya va Gonkong
kiradi.

32. O'zbekistonda raqamli iqtisodiyot O'zbekiston
potensialiga nisbatan bir necha barobar sekinroq
rivojlanmoda. Ya'ni imkoniyat bor, kerakli resurslar
mavjud lekin rivojlanish ancha sust. Bunga sabab sifatida
raqamli iqtisodiyotni O'zbekistonda rivojlanishini bir
qancha to'siqlarini ko'rsatib o'tish mumkin:
ko'plab sohalardagi monopoliya;
internet tezligini pastligi va uni sifatsizligi;
axborot texnologiyalari sohasida qonununchilikning
zamondan orqada qolganligi;
