The GIZ Mini Hydro Power Project for Capacity Building (MHPp2) is offering internships in Jakarta, Indonesia for 2-6 months. MHPp2 aims to provide electricity to rural communities through micro-hydro power and other renewable energy technologies. Ensuring the sustainability of these projects is challenging and requires regular monitoring, evaluation, and community support. Internship opportunities are available in monitoring and evaluation or assessing productive uses of energy to support project implementation and sustainability. Interns will help monitor existing MHP performance, design monitoring systems, and identify opportunities for entrepreneurs to use energy and increase incomes. Strong analytical skills and experience in engineering, management, or socio-economic analysis is required.
