The United Nations General Assembly resolution recalls the 1995 World Programme of Action for Youth and decides to hold two plenary meetings at its 60th session in 2005 to evaluate progress in implementing the Programme ten years after its adoption. It decides to hold an informal roundtable discussion with youth participation prior to the meetings. One youth representative will present a summary of the discussion to the General Assembly. The resolution also aims to facilitate participation of youth non-governmental organizations in the anniversary events.
