Definition of Computer-Assisted Language Learning

    Computer-Assisted Language Learning is
related to the use of computers for language
    teaching and learning.

                    (Hashemi& Aziznezhad, 2011)

                                                9
Definition of Computer-Assisted Language Learning

This system can offer many potential
benefits for both learners and teachers.

                 (Wang, Waple& Kawahara, 2009)

                                                10
Definition of Computer-Assisted Language Learning

This system offers learner the chance to
practice extra learning material at their
convenient time in a stress-free environment.

                    (Witt, 1999; Zinovjeva, 2005)

Definition of Interactive Game Program

Juul (2003) proposes six parameters of game:

                                                12
Definition of Interactive Game Program
Bern, Gonzales,& Camacho(2013) explored some of
outline of the reason why people interest in game-
learning:

                                                 13
Facilitate in language learning with Game-based learning

Game makes learning easier and faster, also makes
learning entertaining and fun. The result of playing
game can encourage learner to challenge themselves
in order to win the game.

                  (Bern, Gonzales,& Camacho, 2013)

                                                     14
Facilitate in language learning with Game-based learning

Language teachers make great use of
  simulation/gaming methodologies and there are
many supporting textbooks and research papers
that present various forms of role-
play, games, simulations, and other exercises.

                                    (Crookall, 2007)

                                                       15
