This document describes an IoT-based system to track the movement of livestock herds in Mongolia. The system uses sensor nodes attached to individual animals and a mobile sink attached to the herd leader. The mobile sink communicates with the sensor nodes to determine the number nearby and obtains GPS data. It sends this information to a location server via cellular network. The server stores the data and displays the herd's location in real-time on a web-based map for herders. The system aims to help herders better manage their livestock and pasturelands.
